Screw compressors produce air through two rotors (screws) inside. When the rotors are driven by an electric motor, the air drawn from the atmosphere is compressed. The compressed air is processed by other components in the system, separated from oil, cooled in the radiator system and made ready for use.
Fixed speed screw compressors are air production devices widely used in industrial applications and preferred especially for systems with a continuous air requirement. These compressors, whose main function is to draw atmospheric air and convert it into compressed air energy, operate at a fixed speed and provide air within a specific pressure range accordingly.
